No lock-in period and no clawback of cashback already paid — unusual for a UAE salary-transfer offer, and the main thing that distinguishes this one. Cashback is credited monthly to the FAB account within 45 calendar days of the end of the month in which the salary landed. A month in which no qualifying salary arrives simply pays nothing; cashback resumes when salary next arrives, but missed months are never credited retrospectively, so the AED 9,000 maximum assumes twelve consecutive qualifying months. Closing the account before fulfilment forfeits cashback not yet paid. Amounts are rounded down to whole dirhams.

  • The headline '20% cashback' is a 12-month total, not a rate. The T&Cs state the actual mechanic: 1.67% cashback on each monthly salary credit, capped at AED 750 per month and AED 9,000 across 12 months.
  • Open to new FAB customers, or existing customers with no FAB salary transfer in the preceding 12 months. Minimum monthly salary AED 5,000.
  • The salary must be credited to a FAB One, FAB Personal Current or Elite Current account. Savings accounts are explicitly excluded, as are non-AED currency accounts.
  • SAVE OR SPEND — either qualifies, and meeting both pays no more. Save: an incremental month-end balance of at least 20% of that month's salary across FAB conventional CASA accounts. Spend: at least 20% of monthly salary on a NEW FAB conventional credit card opened during the campaign.
  • No credit card is required if you qualify via the Save route — the marketing copy implies otherwise.
  • Cash advances, balance transfers, and annual or joining card fees do not count as qualifying spend.
  • The 20% threshold is recalculated monthly against actual salary credited, so a pay change moves the target automatically. Multiple salary credits in one month are aggregated but do not raise the monthly cap.
  • Not open to Private Banking customers, SME customers, FAB staff, or customers with delinquent or overdue FAB accounts.

One-time reward, paid into the first eligible account only, within 60 days of the end of the promotion period or the third consecutive salary credit, whichever is later — in practice up to roughly four months after your first salary lands. Maximum AED 4,000 per customer regardless of accounts. RAKBANK reserves the right to claw back the reward (or deduct its value from any account you hold) if it later determines you were ineligible. Disputes must be raised within 90 days of the promotion ending.

  • Campaign window 1 July – 31 August 2026, both dates inclusive. The first salary must land within the window (existing accounts) or within 60 days of opening (new accounts).
  • Transfer 3 consecutive months' salary of at least AED 10,000/month — or AED 5,000/month only if enrolled under RAKempower Payroll solutions or RAKmore. The AED 500 band exists solely for those enrolled customers.
  • New-to-salary only: anyone whose salary was credited to a RAKBANK account before 1 July 2026 is ineligible.
  • Conventional AED current or savings account only. Variant accounts (RAKBooster, Gold Account, Skywards Savings, Call Deposit, Home in One, Fast Saver, RAKsave, RAKvantage, Evantage) are excluded, as is a salary transfer made to obtain a personal loan.
  • The salary credit's transaction narration must include the word 'Salary'; self-employed salary credits do not qualify.
  • If the three months' salaries differ, the reward is computed on the LOWEST of the three — a mid-campaign pay rise doesn't help, a dip hurts.

The joining bonus is a one-time cash credit, disbursed within 60 days of completing the product bundle (90-day bundle-completion window). DIB may refuse or reverse it for fraud or breach of the campaign terms. Unlike some peers there is no published multi-month salary-stop clawback on the salary-transfer bonus itself — but the bundle's card/finance commitments carry their own terms.

  • Open a new salary transfer on an Al Islami 2-in-1 or Al Islami Savings Account (Sharia, Mudaraba-based) and transfer a salary of AED 5,000+.
  • New DIB salary customers only — no DIB salary transfer in the previous 6 months; at least 2 salaries must be credited.
  • BUNDLE REQUIRED: the salary-transfer bonus is only paid alongside an eligible DIB covered card and/or an eligible finance facility (personal finance ≥ AED 75,000 or auto finance ≥ AED 50,000). It is not a standalone salary-transfer bonus.
  • Salary must be credited via the UAE Wage Protection System / Fund Transfer System (cash, cheque or personal-account transfers don't qualify).
  • An extra 15% on the bonus for products taken through DIB's 'alt' mobile / online digital channels.

Bonus is credited in 6 equal monthly instalments, each within 90 days of the qualifying salary credit. Any month the salary is not transferred — or falls below AED 5,000 — forfeits that month's instalment. If the salary stops for 2 consecutive months within 12 months of the first transfer, all previously paid bonus is clawed back by debiting the account.

  • Bonus is based on the first salary only; maintain the salary transfer to keep it (see clawback).
  • Not available to Mashreq Gold or Private Banking customers, or if a Happiness Account joining bonus was already taken.
