Requirements
- Open a new salary transfer on an Al Islami 2-in-1 or Al Islami Savings Account (Sharia, Mudaraba-based) and transfer a salary of AED 5,000+.
- New DIB salary customers only — no DIB salary transfer in the previous 6 months; at least 2 salaries must be credited.
- BUNDLE REQUIRED: the salary-transfer bonus is only paid alongside an eligible DIB covered card and/or an eligible finance facility (personal finance ≥ AED 75,000 or auto finance ≥ AED 50,000). It is not a standalone salary-transfer bonus.
- Salary must be credited via the UAE Wage Protection System / Fund Transfer System (cash, cheque or personal-account transfers don't qualify).
- An extra 15% on the bonus for products taken through DIB's 'alt' mobile / online digital channels.
Real-world notes
- Verified 30 June 2026 against DIB’s published DIB XTRA Salary Transfer
Campaign Terms & Conditions (PDF). Campaign start date 1 January 2026; no
published hard end date (
validUntilset to year-end as a conservative marker). - The band figures here are the salary-transfer column of the T&C table for standard/resident customers (AED 250 / 500 / 1,000 / 2,500 / 3,000). UAE Nationals get a higher salary-transfer table (AED 500 / 1,000 / 2,000 / 3,500 / 5,500).
- DIB’s marketing headline “up to AED 16,000” is the sum of the salary- transfer bonus plus separate personal-finance, auto-finance, home-finance and covered-card bonuses — achievable only by taking the full bundle. We list only the verifiable salary-transfer component.
- The catch is the bundle: unlike the Mashreq bonus, DIB’s salary-transfer bonus is not standalone — it pays only if you also take an eligible covered card or finance facility. Weigh the bonus against the cost/commitment of that product.
- This is the only Sharia-compliant offer currently in the tracker.
- Re-verified 6 August 2026, and a source ambiguity retired with it: DIB also
hosts an older XTRA campaign T&C (
9684-salary-transfer-tc.pdf) whose own definitions date it 10 July – 7 September 2024, with an AED 8,000 minimum and smaller bands. That document is expired, not a competing reading — the AED 5,000 minimum and the bands above come from the current campaign T&C (start 1 January 2026) and matched it verbatim on re-check.
