What's worth tipping
- Salary-transfer offers (cash, vouchers, combined card+salary promotions) — especially before the bank's site updates.
- Card terms changing (annual fee, FX fee, minimum salary, welcome bonus mechanics).
- Airline / hotel bonuses we haven't covered.
- Customer service patterns from a UAE bank — recurring rejections at a specific salary band, salary-transfer reversals, application timelines.
- Anything that reads like marketing on this site and shouldn't.
How to send
Email info@dubaipoints.ae with what you saw, when you saw it, and — if you have one — a screenshot or document. The subject line "Tip" routes it directly.
If your tip is sensitive (e.g. you're a bank employee with information about an unpublished change), say so in the email. We do not publish names, employers or any identifying detail without explicit permission.
What we'll do
Acknowledge within one business day. Verify against the bank's official channel (product page, schedule of charges, or relationship-manager confirmation) before publishing. If we publish, the source remains confidential by default. If we can't verify, we tell you.
What we won't do
- Pay for tips. This is a journalism site, not a brokerage.
- Publish unverified claims. A tip is the start of reporting, not the end.
- Reveal a source. Confidential is confidential.
