Emirates Skywards has opened a summer-long promotion, “Season of Rewards,” running 21 May to 31 August 2026 — a bundle of four member offers spanning earning and redemption. For UAE residents already inside the Skywards ecosystem, one of the four is broadly useful and the rest are situational.
The one that matters for most members: Cash+Miles doubles
Through 31 August, 2,000 Skywards Miles unlock USD 30 of value (about AED 110) on Emirates and flydubai bookings, instead of the usual USD 15 (about AED 55). It applies to fares and to extras — excess baggage, lounge access and seat selection — across all cabins and fare brands on both airlines. If you hold a modest Miles balance and fly Emirates or flydubai over the summer, this is the offer to actually use.
Tier miles get easier
Members earn 20% bonus Tier Miles on every Emirates and flydubai flight in the window, and Emirates says the Tier Miles required to renew or upgrade are reduced for the period — so Silver, Gold or Platinum status sits within closer reach for anyone flying through August.
Partner earning lifts 50% — with a cap and a registration step
Skywards is adding 50% bonus Miles on hotel stays (Marriott Bonvoy, IHG, Jumeirah and Emirates Skywards Hotels), car rentals (Hertz, Avis & Budget, Europcar, Sixt, CarTrawler), partner-airline flights (United, Air Canada, Aegean, Japan Airlines) and Emirates Holidays packages. The catch: it is capped at 10,000 bonus Miles per partner, registration is required, and the bonus posts within 60 days after the campaign ends — not instantly.
Reward-flight discount on easyJet and Jet2
Short-haul reward flights on the two European carriers drop to 4,500 Miles from 9,000, across all routes, cabins and fares. Useful on a European trip; niche for most UAE-based members.
The fine print that bites
Travel must be completed by 31 August 2026, not merely booked. For Emirates NBD Skywards co-brand cardholders, the tier-miles boost stacks on normal card earning, which makes the window a sensible time to put flight and partner spend on the card.
