Emirates Skywards is running two overlapping summer promotions, and they carry different deadlines: an enhanced-redemption push across its non-flight channels until 30 September 2026, and a Dubai Summer Surprises raffle that requires AED 200+ per qualifying transaction with Skywards Everyday partners or Skywards Miles Mall UAE until 30 August 2026.
The redemption side — to 30 September
The enhanced rates apply across Skywards Everyday, Skywards Miles Mall, the Emirates Official Store, Dubai Duty Free and marhaba Meet & Greet. The headline number is on Skywards Everyday: during the promo, 350 Skywards Miles convert to AED 10 back at hundreds of participating retail, dining and lifestyle partners across the UAE — Emirates names Careem, Costa Coffee, MMI, BinSina Pharmacy, Al Jaber Optical, The Body Shop and NARS among them.
Elsewhere: Miles Mall digital gift cards (Amazon AE, Deliveroo, Shukran, Apple, NIKE) start from 2,000 Skywards Miles, and GCC-issued Emirates Skywards Visa credit cardholders get up to 20% off selected event redemptions on Skywards Exclusives, under the “Co-Brand Offer” label.
The 350-for-AED-10 rate is the desk’s reason to cover this. It works out to roughly 2.86 fils per Skywards Mile — above the 2-fil cost-basis baseline we use on the Skywards programme page and in our valuations. Cashback conversions usually undercut that baseline, which is why our standing guidance is to avoid them. While this promo runs, the arithmetic flips: Everyday cashback is an honest floor-value redemption for Miles you would otherwise let expire.
The DSS raffle — to 30 August
Each qualifying transaction of AED 200 or more with Skywards Everyday partners or Skywards Miles Mall UAE earns a raffle entry. The pot is 5,000,000 Skywards Miles, split as 500 winners × 10,000 Miles — a prize worth AED 200 per winner at the cost-basis valuation. Treat it as a small kicker on spend you were making anyway, not a reason to spend.
Emirates is also promoting up to 1 Skywards Mile per US$1 spent at Dubai Mall, depending on membership tier (AED 3.6725 to the dollar at the peg), plus weekly challenges on the Skywards Everyday app.
What it means for UAE members
If you hold a small Skywards Miles balance that will never reach an award flight, the window to 30 September is the time to burn it at 2.86 fils rather than the sub-baseline rates that normally apply. Members with balances earmarked for flight redemptions should do nothing — no flight award pricing changes here, and 2.86 fils is still below what a well-chosen flight redemption returns. The raffle requires no change of behaviour beyond noting the AED 200 transaction threshold before 30 August.
