The editor
DubaiPoints is, at launch, a single-editor publication produced from the UAE. It uses the organisational byline DubaiPoints Editorial. The editor's name is not currently published, so the site does not present the organisational byline as a named individual.
Published figures are sourced, dated and subject to editorial verification; unresolved fields are withheld or marked pending. Where an article relies on first-hand experience, that basis must be stated on the article itself rather than implied across the publication.
Any future named contributor will receive a real-name byline and a profile stating the experience relevant to that work. An organisational byline will not be used to imply a larger newsroom.

Where we live
DubaiPoints is produced from the UAE for readers using UAE products. Source units, eligibility rules and fees are reported from UAE provider material. International assumptions are not imported where the provider's UAE terms differ.
What we don't claim to be
- Personal financial advisers. DubaiPoints publishes general information and editorial analysis, not advice for an individual's circumstances.
- Tax, immigration or legal advisers. Where coverage touches those areas, it reports what an identified provider or public authority has published and directs readers to a qualified specialist for personal advice.
- A complete database. We cover the cards, programmes, and offers we have been able to verify. Where a bank or product is not yet on the site, that absence is not a verdict — it is queue order.
Editorial standards
All published work follows the standards laid out in our editorial policy: independence from commercial relationships, source-faithful units, sourced and dated verification, and an age flag when a card's verification is more than 90 days old. Funding sources are described in how we make money.
