RAKBANK

RAKBANK — Salary Transfer Cash Reward (July–August 2026)

Last verified 6 Aug 2026
Salary band Reward Type Pays out
AED 5,000 – AED 9,999 AED 500 cash +4 months
AED 10,000 – AED 19,999 AED 1,000 cash +4 months
AED 20,000 – AED 49,999 AED 2,000 cash +4 months
AED 50,000 – no limit AED 4,000 cash +4 months

Requirements

  • Campaign window 1 July – 31 August 2026, both dates inclusive. The first salary must land within the window (existing accounts) or within 60 days of opening (new accounts).
  • Transfer 3 consecutive months' salary of at least AED 10,000/month — or AED 5,000/month only if enrolled under RAKempower Payroll solutions or RAKmore. The AED 500 band exists solely for those enrolled customers.
  • New-to-salary only: anyone whose salary was credited to a RAKBANK account before 1 July 2026 is ineligible.
  • Conventional AED current or savings account only. Variant accounts (RAKBooster, Gold Account, Skywards Savings, Call Deposit, Home in One, Fast Saver, RAKsave, RAKvantage, Evantage) are excluded, as is a salary transfer made to obtain a personal loan.
  • The salary credit's transaction narration must include the word 'Salary'; self-employed salary credits do not qualify.
  • If the three months' salaries differ, the reward is computed on the LOWEST of the three — a mid-campaign pay rise doesn't help, a dip hurts.

Real-world notes

  • Verified 6 August 2026 against RAKBANK’s Salary Transfer Cash Reward promotion T&C (July 2026 PDF, linked from the RAKmore account page). Every band figure above is the T&C table verbatim.
  • The headline band is steep. AED 4,000 needs a salary of AED 50,000+; at AED 10,000–19,999 the reward is AED 1,000. The AED 500 bottom band (salary 5,000–9,999) is only for customers enrolled under RAKempower Payroll or RAKmore — a standard applicant needs AED 10,000/month minimum.
  • The lowest-month rule is the trap to know. The reward is computed on the lowest of your three consecutive salary credits, so a single light month (unpaid leave, a joining pro-rata) re-bands the whole reward.
  • The same window carries a companion welcome bonus interest promotion: 6.25% p.a. for three months on balances up to AED 5M for new-account salary-transfer customers holding an average balance of AED 100,000+ (its own T&C, same 31 August end date). Balance-heavy switchers can stack the two; the tracker lists only the guaranteed cash reward here.
  • No lock-in beyond the three qualifying months is stated, and the clawback clause is conditional on ineligibility rather than on stopping your salary later — milder than most peers, but the reward is also one-time rather than monthly.
