Marriott Bonvoy is paying 5,000 points for one stay under the Skywards partnership — register before you check in

Link your Marriott Bonvoy and Emirates Skywards accounts, register, and complete one eligible paid stay between 15 July and 30 September 2026 to collect 5,000 bonus Bonvoy points — AED 125 at our cost-basis baseline. Registration must come before the stay.

Marriott Bonvoy is running a promotion under its Emirates Skywards partnership: 5,000 bonus Bonvoy points after one eligible paid stay completed between 15 July and 30 September 2026 — first reported by Live From A Lounge. The ordering rule is the whole story: you must link your Bonvoy and Skywards accounts and register for the campaign before the qualifying stay. Register first, stay second — a stay completed before registration earns nothing.

The mechanics, as reported

Per Live From A Lounge’s reporting, one eligible paid stay in the window triggers the 5,000 points; the window closes 30 September 2026 at 11:59pm EDT, and the stay must be booked through Marriott.com or other eligible channels at eligible rates. Which rates and which properties qualify is defined by the Marriott registration page — check it before assuming a prepaid third-party or corporate rate counts.

The AED case

At our 2.5-fil Bonvoy cost-basis baseline, 5,000 points is AED 125 — for a registration that takes a few minutes, against a stay many UAE readers already have booked this summer. That is the honest framing: AED 125 on a staycation you were taking anyway is free money; a stay manufactured to chase 5,000 points is not.

The standing partnership, for context

The promotion sits on top of the established Bonvoy–Skywards partnership, whose mechanics are unchanged: Bonvoy points transfer to Skywards Miles at 3:1, with a 5,000-Mile bonus per 60,000 points transferred; Skywards Silver, Gold and Platinum members earn 1 Skywards Mile per USD on eligible Marriott stays; and Bonvoy Gold Elite members and above earn 3 points per USD on eligible Emirates flights. Details are on our Marriott Bonvoy hub and the Emirates Skywards partner page.

What it means for UAE members

If any paid Marriott-family stay sits in your calendar before 30 September — a summer staycation or a work trip landing at a Bonvoy property — link the accounts and register today, then forget about it. The cost of registering and not staying is zero; the cost of staying unregistered is AED 125 of points left on the table.

Holders of the Emirates NBD Marriott Bonvoy cards are the natural audience here: the balance the 5,000 points lands in is the one their card spend already feeds. Nothing about the cards themselves changes.

One stay is the full promotion — there is no cap to allocate against and no reason to split nights. Book the stay you were booking; just do the registration first.

Promotion first reported by Live From A Lounge, 17 July 2026; eligible rates and properties are per the Marriott registration page. Standing partnership mechanics verified against the Emirates Skywards Marriott Bonvoy partner page, checked 27 July 2026. AED figures use the 2.5-fil Bonvoy cost-basis baseline from our programme page.
