IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed the first two Garner Hotels in the Middle East, both in the UAE, it announced on 29 September 2026. Garner is IHG’s midscale conversion brand, designed for owners converting existing hotels, and IHG calls it its fastest-scaling brand worldwide.

Both hotels are signed with Nooa Holdings and are expected to open in 2026, per IHG’s release.

The two hotels

Together they add 285 rooms. IHG says it already has 39 hotels operating across eight brands in the UAE, with 110 more due to open over the next three to five years.

What Garner is

IHG pitches Garner as quality stays at an affordable price: a convenient location, a good night’s sleep and a good breakfast. IHG describes the Ras Al Khaimah hotel as a conversion of an existing property.

For IHG One Rewards members

The release says Garner gives owners access to IHG One Rewards, but it does not spell out how IHG One Rewards earning or elite benefits will work at these two hotels, so check the hotel’s listing on ihg.com once it is bookable.

For UAE residents, the Ras Al Khaimah hotel is the more interesting of the two, as an IHG option for weekends in the northern emirates. IHG places the Dubai hotel between Downtown Dubai and DXB.

IHG has given neither hotel an opening date more precise than “2026”. We will report when bookings open.
