Update, 1 October 2026: the application window closed on 30 September 2026. FAB’s promotion page for the offer now redirects to the Cashback Credit Card’s main page, which, read on 1 October, no longer mentions the Holiday Factory voucher. The story stays as a record of how the offer worked.
FAB has a welcome cycle running on the Cashback Credit Card, and it ends this month. From the bank’s own promotions page:
- Apply by 30 September 2026.
- Spend AED 20,000 within 30 days of card issuance.
- Eligible customers receive a Holiday Factory travel voucher.
That is the offer as advertised. The part that decides whether it is worth chasing is one sentence further down the same page.
The queue is the catch
FAB’s headline is Disneyland Paris. Its terms are narrower:
Be among the first 300 eligible customers to complete a booking with the Holiday Factory and enjoy a free trip to Disneyland® Paris. Alternatively, you can choose a free holiday to Uzbekistan or Azerbaijan.
The first 300 customers to register and redeem their voucher via the Holiday Factory will receive a Paris package. Thereafter, vouchers may be redeemed for an Azerbaijan or Uzbekistan package.
So Paris is capped at 300 people, and the cap is not on approvals — it is on customers who register and redeem through Holiday Factory. You could be approved, hit AED 20,000 of spend, and still find the Paris allocation gone by the time you get to redemption. What you would hold then is a voucher for Azerbaijan or Uzbekistan.
Those are perfectly good trips. They are not the trip in the advertisement, and the difference matters if Paris is why you applied. The offer opened before September; we cannot tell you how much of the 300 is left, and neither does the page.
What we cannot price
FAB does not publish a cash value for the Holiday Factory package on the promotions page — no AED figure for the Paris trip, the Azerbaijan trip or the Uzbekistan one. Without that, this cannot be compared like-for-like with a cash welcome bonus, and we are not going to invent a number for it.
What we can say is what it costs you: AED 20,000 of spend inside 30 days. That is a real hurdle on an entry-tier cashback card, and if you would not otherwise spend it, the “free” holiday is being bought with manufactured spend.
Against what the card does anyway
Our FAB Cashback review covers the steady state: AED 315 annual fee, 5% back on supermarkets, fashion and dining — capped at AED 150 per category per month — and a AED 3,000 minimum spend in the previous month before the card pays any cashback at all.
Note how the two interact. The AED 20,000 sprint earns cashback too, but the category caps bite hard: 5% on AED 20,000 does not pay AED 1,000, because each category stops at AED 150 a month. Run your own numbers against the caps rather than the headline rate.
The honest read
If you were going to take a FAB Cashback card anyway and AED 20,000 in 30 days is ordinary spending for you, the voucher is upside. If you are applying for Paris specifically, understand that you are joining a queue of unknown length for a prize that converts to a different country when it runs out — and that the deadline to enter is 30 September 2026.
