Emirates Islamic pays banded salary-transfer cashback to 30 September — unless you've banked with ENBD lately

Emirates Islamic's salary-transfer cashback runs to 30 September 2026: AED 50–3,000 in account cashback by salary band for expats plus up to AED 1,000 in Covered Card spend rewards. The new-to-Group rule, the enrolment form and the lowest-month banding are the fine print that decides who actually gets paid.

Update, 1 October 2026: this campaign has ended. Its stated end date was 30 September 2026. On 1 October the offer page redirected to Emirates Islamic’s general banking-packages page, and EI’s offers index listed no salary-transfer cashback offer. The tracker entry has moved to the offer history. The story stays as a record of how the offer worked.

Emirates Islamic is running a banded salary-transfer cashback campaign to 30 September 2026, and it is now live on our tracker. We verified the offer page and the campaign terms and conditions on 22 August 2026; the window opened 1 June.

What it pays

Two components. First, CASA cashback into the salary account, by band — for non-UAE nationals: AED 50 at salary AED 5,000–7,499, rising through AED 100, 400, 600 and 1,500 to AED 3,000 at AED 50,000+. UAE Nationals earn more at every band, topping out at AED 5,000 at 50,000+.

Second, a Covered Card spend reward of up to AED 1,000 — a new EI Covered Card plus AED 6,000–18,000 of spend (scaling by band) within 60 days of the card being issued. Sharia-compliant throughout; these are Covered Cards, not conventional credit cards. Stacked, the expat headline is AED 4,000 at the top band — but the guaranteed no-card figure there is AED 3,000. Full band tables are on the tracker entry.

The four traps

New-to-Group only. Emirates Islamic is an Emirates NBD Group bank, and the T&C defines eligibility as no salary-transfer relationship with the Group — Emirates NBD or Emirates Islamic — in the six months before your first salary credit. An ENBD salary customer hopping across to the Islamic brand earns nothing. This is the disqualifier we expect to catch the most readers, because it is invisible on the offer page’s headline.

Enrolment is a form, not a default. You must submit the campaign enrolment form on the offer page — new and existing customers alike. Transfer the salary without enrolling and the reward simply never tracks.

Lowest-month banding. Three consecutive monthly salary credits qualify you, and if the amounts differ, the band is computed on the lower of the second and third months — the same shape as RAKBANK’s rule. One light month re-bands the entire payout.

Exclusions with teeth. Salaries landing in Super Savings Skywards or Etihad Guest accounts disqualify the whole campaign, as does holding an active Personal Finance facility at payout time. Cashback lands within 60 days of completing the three-month run — call it roughly five months after the first salary — and can be reversed if the account then goes three consecutive months without a salary credit within the following year.

Where it sits in the market

With RAKBANK’s cash reward closing 31 August, this becomes the longest-running verified banded offer on the live tracker — and unlike RAKBANK, the bottom bands are open to everyone, not just payroll-scheme enrollees. The trade: smaller guaranteed sums at most bands, and the new-to-Group rule closes it to a large slice of the switching population.

Verified against the Emirates Islamic offer page and campaign T&C on 22 August 2026. The tracker entry carries the full band tables, requirements and clawback terms, and is where any change lands first.
