The ADCB Shukran Credit Card is a co-brand with Landmark Group’s Shukran loyalty programme — the points currency that sits across Centrepoint, Babyshop, Splash, Home Centre, Lifestyle, Max, Shoemart, Emax, Homebox and Styli — and pays its rewards straight into the cardholder’s Shukran membership account.

- Shukrans are captive to the Landmark ecosystem — no transfers to airlines, hotels or AED cash-out

Earn rates
All earn pays as Shukrans — the Landmark Group loyalty currency, redeemable at point of sale or online at Shukran-partner brands across the UAE. ADCB’s product page sets the structure as follows:
Fee summary
Per the ADCB Schedule of Fees Ver.46 (February 2026), the annual fee is **AED 250
- VAT (AED 262.50)** at the Aspire relationship tier, with the first year waived for all UAE residents and the fee permanently waived for UAE Nationals at Excellency tier. A non-National UAE resident pays AED 262.50 from year two; a UAE National at Excellency holds the card without a recurring fee. The nationality-and-tier conditional pricing is unusual in the UAE market and is worth surfacing at application — confirm your relationship tier before assuming the headline waiver applies. The cost to watch on either profile is the 2.99% non-AED foreign-currency markup per the same schedule — market-standard for UAE Visas, no FX advantage on overseas spend. All published fees include 5% VAT.
What you get — per-benefit value
ADCB quotes both the welcome bonus and the earn in AED-equivalent terms (“AED 1,000 in Shukrans”, “10% back as Shukrans”), so we take Shukrans at the AED face value ADCB itself states — redeemable only inside the Landmark ecosystem. Counted against AED 0 in year one and AED 262.50 from year two.
Welcome bonus
AED 1,000 in Shukrans for a UAE resident new to ADCB cards (AED 1,200 for UAE Nationals; AED 200 for existing ADCB cardholders), on AED 8,000 of spend inside 60 days. Value to me: AED 1,000, one-time at the resident baseline — but only spendable at Landmark brands, and reversed if you close the card inside twelve months.
10% Landmark earn
10% back as Shukrans at Babyshop, Centrepoint, Emax, Homebox, Home Centre, Lifestyle, Max, Shoemart, Splash and Styli. Value to me: AED 1,200/year on AED 1,000 a month of Landmark spend; AED 600/year at AED 500 a month. Taken at face when redeemed at a Landmark till.
1.5% on other retail
Value to me: AED 540/year on AED 3,000 a month of general retail — but paid in captive Shukrans, so a flat AED-cashback card at 1%+ is often the better carrier for this spend.
Reel Cinemas BOGO
Up to two complimentary tickets per month. At the AED 40–50 typical ticket: Value to me: AED 480–600/year on one paired visit a month.
Shukran Platinum tier fast-track
In-programme benefits ladder only — no published AED value. Value to me: not computable — we don’t book a figure on a status tier without published per-benefit pricing.
Total package: a Landmark-loyal household at AED 1,000 a month of Landmark spend plus a monthly cinema pairing collects roughly AED 2,700–2,800 in year one (welcome included) against no fee, and AED 1,700–1,800/year ongoing against the AED 262.50 renewal. Outside the Landmark ecosystem the package collapses to the cinema line — and the fee stops being worth paying.
Key conditions to know
- Shukran redemption
- Shukrans are credited monthly (in the first week of the month following spend) to the primary cardholder’s Shukran membership account. Redeemable at point of sale or online at Shukran-partner brands across the UAE only. No transfers to airlines, hotels, statement credit, AED cash-out or third-party programmes.
- Welcome bonus
- Paid as Shukrans, credited within 120 days, on AED 8,000 of spend inside 60 days of card issuance. AED 1,200 for UAE Nationals new to ADCB cards; AED 1,000 for other UAE residents new to ADCB cards; AED 200 for existing ADCB credit-card or covered-card holders. Verified against the ADCB product page, 11 June 2026.
- Annual fee schedule
- AED 250 + VAT (AED 262.50)/year at Aspire tier per SoF Ver.46. Free at Excellency tier for UAE Nationals; first year waived for all other UAE residents, AED 262.50 from year two onwards.
- Reel Cinemas BOGO
- Buy one ticket, get one free — up to two complimentary tickets per calendar month — at Reel Cinemas.
- Shukran tier fast-track
- Fast-track upgrade to Shukran Platinum tier membership on card issuance — accelerates the in-programme benefits ladder without needing the spend that would normally qualify you.
- Eligibility
- Minimum monthly salary AED 5,000; UAE residency required; salaried only. Salary transfer not required.
Watch out for
- Year-two fee for residents. AED 250 + VAT (AED 262.50) from year two onwards. UAE Nationals are exempt — make sure your application reflects the correct profile.
- Existing-customer welcome collapses. AED 200 for existing ADCB credit-card or covered-card holders versus the new-to-bank headline. The card is sharpest as a first- ADCB-card for a Landmark-loyal applicant.
- Captive currency. Shukrans redeem only at Landmark brands in the UAE. Useful if your household lives there; useless if not.
- Welcome bonus is tiered by profile. AED 1,200 only applies to UAE Nationals with no existing ADCB credit or covered card; other new-to-ADCB residents receive AED 1,000, and existing ADCB cardholders AED 200. Make sure your application reflects the profile you are claiming.
- Clawback realities. Shukran welcome bonuses are typically reversed if the card is closed within twelve months of issuance. The year-two AED 262.50 is not pro-rated for a mid-year cancellation — close before the renewal anniversary if your spend pattern has drifted away from the Landmark ecosystem.
Is it worth it?
For a household that already shops the Landmark portfolio — Centrepoint for adult wardrobe basics, Babyshop and Splash for kids, Home Centre and Homebox for the apartment, Emax for electronics — the 10% Shukrans-back on spend you were going to do anyway is straightforwardly strong. Add the Reel BOGO and the Shukran Platinum tier fast-track and the year-one maths is clean even before the welcome bonus is calculated. UAE Nationals hold the card indefinitely for the same reasoning.
For a resident whose retail spend is mostly outside the Landmark ecosystem, year one is fine but year two onwards the AED 262.50 fee starts costing more than the captive Shukrans return. In that case it is a year-one product to harvest the welcome and the year-one earn, then close.
Bottom line
A clean Landmark-Group co-brand whose maths is sharp for households shopping Centrepoint, Babyshop, Splash, Home Centre and the rest — free at Excellency tier for UAE Nationals, year one free for all other residents per SoF Ver.46. Apply if Landmark brands are part of your monthly retail rotation. Skip in year two as a resident if your spend has drifted elsewhere.
Pay smart: for AED-denominated cashback on the spend that doesn’t go through Landmark brands, pair this with a broad-merchant cashback card like the CBD One free-for-life Visa, or look at the ADCB LuLu co-brand if your weekly shop is at LuLu instead.
